Single Session
For: Specific decision or focused review.
What you getFor teams planning a product, evaluating a build, or stuck somewhere in the middle. Honest advisory from people who've actually shipped software.
Twenty years of building, hosting, and shipping software. Three products of our own. We give advice rooted in real operating experience.
If your idea is bad, we'll tell you. If you should buy instead of build, we'll say so. Our job is to be useful, not agreeable.
You get clear written summaries and direct conversations. Not slide decks engineered to trigger Phase 2.
Every engagement is led by founders or senior engineers. No junior consultants reciting frameworks they read about last week.
Different engagement, different value. Most clients come to us at one of these inflection points.
You have an idea but need help shaping it into something buildable. We help you scope realistically before you commit budget — and tell you honestly if the idea doesn't survive scoping.
You're choosing between custom development and existing software. We give honest input, even when the answer is "buy, don't build." We have no incentive to push you toward custom work.
You're hiring a development partner and want a second opinion on their proposals, estimates, or technical approach. We've seen enough good and bad work to spot the difference quickly.
Existing system not scaling? We diagnose what's wrong and recommend specific changes — without trying to sell you a rewrite. Sometimes the answer is a small fix, not a Phase 2 project.
You're a non-technical founder or operator who needs a senior technical partner to lean on regularly. Async access, monthly check-ins, and as-needed deep dives without committing to a build.
Pick the format that fits your decision timeline and depth needed.

What you getFor: Ongoing strategic relationship.

Different roles, similar problems. Real decisions, real money on the line, and frustration with consultants who sell decks instead of clarity.
Building their first product. Want senior input before they commit budget.
Digitizing their first internal system. Don't want to make expensive mistakes.
Managing legacy modernization. Want an outside read on internal thinking.
Scoping new platforms. Need a sanity check on vendor proposals or estimates.
Doing technical due diligence. Want honest assessment of a stack before they commit.
Who need a translator between business intent and engineering reality.
We're explicit about what consulting from us looks like — and what it doesn't.
You get focused written summaries with clear recommendations — not deliverables nobody reads.
Your problem isn't going to be solved by a 2x2 matrix or a capability maturity model.
If we recommend a build, we'll tell you whether we want to do it or not — and why.
Plain words, direct claims, honest uncertainty where it exists.
If your problem isn't ours to solve, we'll point you toward someone better suited.
A startup founder came to us planning a custom CRM build. After two sessions, our advice was to use HubSpot instead. They saved €60,000 and 6 months. We made €1,000.
A mid-market company had three vendor proposals ranging from €40K to €180K. We reviewed all three and identified scope errors in each. The eventual project shipped at €85K — within accurate scope.
A scaling SaaS thought they needed a full rewrite. After a one-week architecture review, we identified three database changes that solved 90% of their performance issues. No rewrite needed.
We've actually shipped software. They write reports about shipping software. We're also dramatically cheaper and operate without 14 layers of account management.
Yes. Mutual NDAs are standard for any serious conversation about confidential work.
Yes. Many engagements involve advising in-house teams or co-developing recommendations with them. We don't compete with your team — we make them more effective.
We can do the work ourselves, or recommend other teams we trust. We'll be transparent about which makes more sense for your project.
Single sessions: usually within 1–2 weeks. Project engagements: 2–4 weeks lead time. Retainers: start of next month is typical.
Both. Most engagements are remote. We travel for strategic sessions or workshops when it adds meaningful value.
You get clear written deliverables. If you want ongoing access, we can move to a retainer. If not, we're available for follow-up questions for 30 days at no extra cost.
Yes. That's the entire point. If you're looking for a consultant who validates your existing plan, we're not the right fit.
Yes, after the initial discovery call. We respect client confidentiality but can connect you with relevant references.
Croatian and English. Most international engagements are in English.
Initial 30-minute conversations are always free. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you and point you toward someone who is.
